We will meet at the Falcon's Roost Restaurant at 9:00
AM for breakfast, then
take in the show. The CAF museum is on the South West end of the field.
You can taxi to Falcon's Roost Restaurant by taking the mid field taxiway south,
then turn west at the first taxiway past Arizona Aviation. Entrance fee
is: Seniors 62 and older $9; Adults 13 to 62 $10; Children 5 to 12 $3
Wednesday March 10th: Club meeting at Deer Valley Airport Restaurant.

The March flying activity will actually be on Saturday, April 3rd. This
will be a day trip to Globe. We will arrive at the Globe-San Carlos
airport at 8:45 AM. We will go across the highway to the casino for
breakfast. At 10:30AM, we will board the train next to the casino for a
scenic ride into globe. We will arrive in Globe station, which is in the
middle of the historical district, at 11:00. We will then get a guided 45
minute walking tour of the Historical District. After that we can do some
shopping, have some lunch and board the train at 1:30 for the trip back to the
casino. Prices for the train are $22 adults, $19 seniors, and $12 12 years
and under. We can get a discount if we have 12 or more in our group.
Friday and Saturday April 16th and 17th: Fly in to Page to tour Antelope Canyon.
Details are to follow, however, the plan is to fly to Page, AZ fairly early
Friday morning, tour the canyon mid day when the light is the best, with perhaps
another activity in the afternoon. Have dinner, spend the night.
Saturday morning we will meet for breakfast and then return to the valley.
Saturday May 1st: Unofficial, for those who wish to go, breakfast in
Seligman at the West Side Lilo's Cafe for the Route 66 Fun Run Car Ralley.
Lots of classic cars. Arrive Seligman 9:00 AM.
Friday May 7th: Hangar Party - Pot Luck in Dewey and Sandy's hangar 34-8.
Arrive at 6:00, eat around 7:00. The Four Fifties band will play after we
eat. The theme this year is "Country". That is NOT cowboy but farmer
country with your favorite home cookin receipe at the pot luck.

June Activity will be a downtown activity to be determined. Perhaps a ball
game or other entertainment that we can take the light rail to.
Thursday, July 16th: Dinner at Anzio Landing Restaurant, 2613 N. Thunderbird
Circle in Mesa. This restaurant is located on Falcon Field (FFZ) so you
can either fly or drive. This has become an annual event for July so come
join us for good food and great camaraderie.
