Diamondbacks Baseball Game, August 14th 2009

Another great "non flying" event was held by the Blue Sky Flyers on Friday August 14th.  Nine members and two grandsons attended an Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game where the Diamondbacks beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4 to 1.  Go Team!  Several of us took the light rail from the 19th Ave and Bethany Home Rd area to the ballpark which was part of the fun of the evening.  It sure alleviates the parking problem down town.

Attending were Keith and Margaret Monet, Jim and Gert Little, Dave and Tanna Romberg, Dewey and Sandy Harnagel, Gena Lighthouse, Keith and Margaret's grandson Nicholas and Dewey and Sandy's grandson Cole.  Most of us had the obligatory hot dog at the ball park and it was a great evening, especially since the Diamondbacks won.

After the game we stuck around for the Friday night fireworks show.  It was one of the best fireworks shows I have seen.
